Glenn Guess On How To Call Mature Boars
We’re back for another show about hunting hogs today and once again, I’m joined by Glenn Guess of Hog Zombies. In the last couple of episodes, we’ve talked about how to hunt hogs in general and a basic primer on calling hogs. Today, Glenn and I are going to talk about how to call in mature boars in particular.
Glenn pretty much wrote the book on hog calling and over the years, he’s actually pioneered some specific methods of targeting dominant boars in particular. Today, he’s going to give us an overview of how to call dominant boars: how he defines a mature boar, dominant boar behavior, how hunting mature boars are different from other hogs, what call sequences to use when hunting mature boars, and a few other things you can do to increase your odds of success (and have more fun) on a hog hunt. If you want to learn more about hog hunting, be sure to listen to this episode!
Feel free to send me a message with any feedback you have on the show as well as topic requests for future episodes.
