While lever-action rifles are great for some applications, they’re not great for others and, for various reasons, they’ve never really caught on with the general hunting community in Africa. We talk about why that’s the case, the pros and cons of lever action rifles, the situations they’re best suited for, and which cartridges meet the minimum requirements for hunting plains and dangerous game in Africa.
